INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

If you are on campus and would like to reach out to Chinese international students, these tapes communicate the gospel in the appropriate language and cultural and intellectual background of the targeted listener (e.g. Catalog No. TR106-07M and TR204-05M for PRC students; TY02-09C for Cantonese-speaking students; PR203M, PY38M and TY39M for Mandarinspeaking students.) For follow-up and discipleship of new believers, we recommend choosing among the green series of tapes.

GARMENT FACTORY WORKERS

These broadcast-style inspirational programs are meant to be played over a factory's P.A. system. For Christian owners, assistance is available in selection of daily programming. For outreach purposes, garment factory workers may use these tapes to share with their peers.

HOSPITAL/NURSING HOME PATIENTS and the ELDERLY

These testimonies and messages of comfort in different dialects stimulate the listener to think through life's most important issues. For the elderly, the programs are recorded at an appropriate pace designed for maximum retention.

RESTAURANT WORKERS

Real-life testimonies and talk-show programs in different dialects are popular with this group. For new Christians, there are follow-up series available (e.g. Rev. Tony Choi's series in Cantonese, "Essentials for Survival," Catalog No. TG85-92C).

PARENTS

We have tapes available which cater to the various religious backgrounds and home dialects of Chinese parents of local-born Chinese. When used effectively, these tapes can bridge the "generation gap," especially for those for whom communication in Chinese is limited.

SEAMEN MISSIONS

Churches located in port cities can use these
tapes to minister cross-culturally to Chinese seamen when their ships are docked and atterwards as they travel with tapes.

PRISON/DETENTION CENTERS

Many as yet undetermined places and peoples can be reached using these tapes, such as by a prison chaplain we heard from.

CHURCH LIBRARIES for COMMUNITY OUTREACH

These tapes will be especially useful in reaching the non-Christian parents of children in Sunday School, Chinese classes, and after-school programs, as well as students in English classes.

SHORT-TERM MISSIONS and CHURCH-PLANTING PIONEERS

In South and Central America and Europe where Chinese are scattered, tapes in the green and white sections are welcomed by "lonely,' Christian immigrants and new converts, whereas tapes in the red, yellow and blue sections are good for door-to-door visitation.
